By Road: Travelling from Delhi
On reaching Moradabad, continue to take take the national highway, to reach Rampur, Rudrapur and then onwards to Haldwani
Once you reach Haldwani, pass Kathgodam and take the diversion to Bhimtal.
Follow the mountain road upto Bhimtal.
Once in Bhimtal with the lake on your right, take a round about of the entire lake and come to take the road which takes you up to Naukutchiatal.
While on that road ask for the paragliding spot or JungaliyaGaon. Also watch out for the big signage "Templeton International Academy".
At this signage you will come across a fork, ignore the straight road and take the left road.
Drive 7 kms uphill till you reach "KailashDwar" – a big stone arched gate to your right. 5 minute drive from there lands you at Emerald Trail to the right of the road.
We advise our guests not to take the Bazpur road as it is in a very bad condition and can delay your driving time to upto 5-6 hours
By Train: Travelling from Delhi
There are train options to get to Kathgodam Station the rail last stop.
Ranikhet express leaves Old Delhi at 10:30 pm daily, arrives in Kathgodam station at 5:00 am next morning.
Uttaranchal SamparkKranti leaves Old Delhi at 4 pm daily and arrives in Kathgodam Station at 10:30 pm.
Anand Vihar Shatabdi runs between Anand Vihar and Kathgodam, it starts from Anand Vihar at 6 am and reaches Kathgodam at 12 noon. This train may not play all days of the week.
Please check on the latest schedule of each of the above before booking.
From Kathgodam station you can take a taxi to Jungaliagaon and Emerald Trail and follow the instructions as above from point 2 onwards. Arrangements can be made for the same, however the payment will need to be done directly to the taxi owner.
By Air: Travelling from Delhi
The only airport is Dehradun. You can get a range of flights from the domestic airlines arriving in Dehradun. However the drive from Dehradun airport to Jungaliagaon is around 400 kms and that could be extremely tedious
By Bus: Travelling from Delhi
Check with your local city bus schedules and see if any of the busses come to Haldwani or Kathgodam. From there you can take a taxi and follow the directions as above in points 2 and 3
