By Road :Travelling from Delhi
To ensure that you reach without difficulty and spend the perfect vacation at our eco-friendly bungalow in Bhimtal, Uttarakhand; please follow the directions: |
1. On reaching Moradabad take the Moradabad bypass.Take the sharp right as you get off the by-pass immediately and ask for directions to Baazpur Avoid Kashipur road as it is an additional 20 kms drive and densely crowded
From Baazpur drive on to Kaladunghi where you will see the Jim Corbett Museum. From there take the Haldwani road and AVOID the Nainital road. Once on Haldwani Road,
2. Pass Kathgodam and take the diversion to Bhimtal.
Follow the mountain road upto Bhimtal. Once in Bhimtal with the lake on your right, take a round-about of the entire lake and come to the road which takes you up to Naukutchiyataal.While on that road look out for the para-gliding spot and take a left from that diversion.
3. Drive straight up from that road for another 10 kms and you come to signages and a pink colored hotel called Apical. Go a little further from that hotel, you come to Emerald Trail. |

By Rail:Travelling from Delhi |

There are train options to get to Kathgodam Station the rail last stop.
1: Ranikhet express leaves Old Delhi at 10:40 pm daily, arrives in Kathgodam station at 5:30 am next morning.
2: Uttaranchal Sampark Kranti leaves Old Delhi at 4 pm daily and arrives in Kathgodam Station at 10:30 pm.
3: Another special train Lalkuwan Delhi Puja Special runs between Lalkuwan & Delhi, it starts from Delhi at 05:00 am and reaches Lalkuwan at 11:00 am and on the same day returns from Lalkuwan at 3:40 pm & reaches Delhi at 09:35 pm From Kathgodam station you can take a taxi to Jungaliagaon and Emerald Trail. Just follow the instructions as above from point 2 onwards. |

By Air : Travelling from Delhi |
The only airport is Dehradun. You can get a range of flights from the domestic airlines arriving in Dehradun. However the drive from Dehradun airport to Jungaliagaon is around 400 kms and that could be a tedious and can extensive driver for over 10 hours. |

Check with your local city bus schedules and see if any of the busses come to Haldwani or Kathgoam. From there you can take a taxi and follow the directions as above in points 2 and 3
